PARROTT, MRS. ANNALEE SNODDERLY - passed away Friday, April 4, 2008 at the age of 90. Mrs. Parrott was born December 3, 1917, the daughter of the late Lillie Myers Snodderly and Will Chester Snodderly. Mrs. Parrott was married to the late William Harrison Parrott, Jr. of LaFollette, TN where the family resided for many years. Mr. and Mrs. Parrott were long-standing members of the First Baptist Church of LaFollette and, in recent years, Mrs. Parrott had attended the First Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her three siblings: sister, Gena Snodderly Sharp; and brothers, William Sanford Snodderly and Zen Kenneth Snodderly, Sr. Survivors include: 2 daughters, Anne Parrott Trowbridge of Knoxville, TN and Nancy Parrott Choate of Atlanta, GA; 6 grandchildren, Mary Trowbridge of Knoxville, TN, Gena Brooks and husband, Phillip of Ooltewah, TN, Jennifer Hairrell and husband, Chris of Knoxville, TN, Karen Mayes and husband, Michael of Jacksonville, FL, Trey Hamil and wife Kelly of Dacula, GA and Laura Hamil of Littleton, CO; 7 great-grandchildren, Sarah and Adam Brooks, Caitlin, Claire and Caroline Hairrell and Matthew and Emily Hamil. A memorial service will be held at Walters Funeral Home, 509 East Central Avenue, LaFollette, TN on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, 2 P.M. The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. before services. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery immediately afterwards. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be sent to St. Mary's Residential Hospice, 7447 Andersonville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37938. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Bruce Avery and his staff and to St. Mary's Hospice for the compassionate and professional care which was provided for Mrs. Parrott during her illness. In addition, the family wishes to deeply thank the extended family and dear friends who have given their love and support to Mrs. Parrott throughout her life. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Annalee Snodderly Parrott.

Ann & Nancy,
We will certainly miss your Mother. She was a dear friend and I will cherish the memories of going to UT basketball games together, and sharing dinners with she and my Mom. Her quiet spirit, strength and resolve during the past year were amazing. Our prayers and sympathy are with you.
