Anne L. Annunziata

As I´m having my Sunday morning coffee and listening to news in the background, for some reason I was prompted to Google Annie´s name. I was shocked to find her obituary and learn she had passed away in February. Annie and I met in White Plains NY in January 1982 while assigned an audit for that location as IBM pre-management development. We became lifetime friends and always corresponded through our various jobs and relocations. One of my best friends (also now deceased) helped Annie purchase her Raleigh home during that relocation. We met in NYC, Naples, Raleigh, and San Francisco over the years. Our running joke in anticipation of our annual holiday phone conversation was, "I´ll have my people contact your people", to coordinate a time frame we could talk for a couple hours. Despite Annie´s physical challenges they never limited her big adventures and her huge laugh at often off-color conversations was infectious. I´m so sorry to have not been aware of her illness and passing and extend my heartfelt condolences to her siblings and family. Our friendship for more than 40 years is a reminder that time and distance seems to disappear when you have a magical bond with another human being.

Annie was one of the Sweetest Souls God created, Condolences to her family. You are in our Prayers.

I am so sorry for the loss of Anne. I went to Lauralton Hall with her and she was always pleasant. May God bless you all as you deal with this loss.
