Of Shoreview, MN Cherished mother passed quietly at age 102, surrounded by family on 12/15/22. Preceded in death by husband Gerald, son Phillip, parents Jean and Anna Legros, brother Jean, sister Paulette, grandchildren Leroy and Natalie. Survived by daughters Paulette (Dennis) LaGrow, Vivian Garvey, Nadine (Johnnie) Miller; son John (Ann) Briggs; grandchildren Courtney (Matt) Dressler, Chase, Miles and Colin Garvey, Theresa (Matt) Edelman, Eric (Grety) Brix, Lindsey (Allen) Gregory, Holly and Daniel Briggs; 12 great grandchildren, family in Belgium. Also, niece Jonell, nephew Alba and friend Peggy. Anne emigrated to MN post WWII, following her husband. With devotion to family and faith, she shared her Belgian culture especially through her language and cuisine. She loved opera, travel, fashion, football-SKOL! Visitation Tues. 12/20/22, 5-7PM and Wed. 10-11AM followed by funeral Mass at 11AM. Holcomb-Henry-Boom-Purcell Funeral Home, 515 W. Hwy. 96, Shoreview, MN. Memorials to Special Olympics MN.

I am so sorry for your loss. I never meet Anne but I felt like I knew her through my mom's stories. Sherry Teague is my mom and she so enjoyed her time coming down and staying with Anne until she couldn't anymore. Love to you all and prayers for peace.

Such a very precious, remarkable and wonderful lady. I loved her and that beautiful accent, and so fortunate she told me some stories of her time during the war. I'll miss her gentle presence. I wish/hope her family will publish and share her history. My best to her family who took such good care of her. Linda Holmes
