Anne K. Kazmerzak

KAZMERZAK Anne K. Kazmerzak, age 84, of Upper Arlington, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010 in the company of her three children. Born August 11, 1926 in Wheeling, WV, to Jessica and John Karrish, she was the youngest of three daughters. A graduate of Wheeling High School, Anne married Leo E. Kazmerzak in 1950 at St. Mary's Ukranian Church upon Leo's graduation from the University of Michigan. They shared a 40 year life together while raising their family in Columbus. Career history included North American Aviation and as a Facilities Planner with The Ohio Dept. of Mental Health and Retardation for 25 years. Anne was a founding member of St. Andrew's Church and a lifetime member of their Women's Club. Always "dressed to the nines", she was an avid shopper, reader, and daily crossword puzzle and Soduku enthusiast; diehard "Wolverine" fan. Her St. Andrew's bridge club friendships spanned 56 plus years. Anne relished her grandchildren's football, crew, lacrosse and soccer games. Preceded in death by husband in 1990 and dog "Mo" in 2007. She will be sorely missed by survivors, daughters, Lori Bentine (John), Lynda McPherson (Mark); and son, Ronald Kazmerzak (Jeryl Lynn); grandchildren, J. Tyler and Corey Bentine; Anne McPherson; and Cole, Quinn and Klaire Kazmerzak. Family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2010 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL 1740 Zollinger Rd. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at St. Andrew's Church 1899 McCoy at Reed Rd. Columbus, OH 43220. Celebrant will be Father Michael Watson.
