Anne LANGLOIS Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 22, 2021.
It is with sad hearts that we announce the death of Anne Langlois (nee Dickens) on May 14, 2021. She died in her home lovingly cared for by her son, David for twenty-one years. She was predeceased by her husband Lucien Langlois, her parents and was the last remaining member of her family. She is survived by her sons and their spouses, Daniel (Charlene), Mark (Lois), David and Ronald (the late Janice) (Jann). She was the adored and loving grandmother of Alex, Teresa (Daniel), Anthony, Marianne (Justin), James and Jennifer and great-grandmother of Drew and Jaylah. Unfortunately, she did not get the chance to meet her newborn great-granddaughter Aria. Anne was the 8th of 10 children of her family, born in Biddulph Twp., near London Ontario, September 21, 1922. She met and married Lucien in London, Ontario in 1943. Lucien was a highly respected Funeral Director and they and their sons lived in many cities in Ontario and Quebec. Moving to Welland from Quebec in 1974, Lucien worked as a Funeral Director until his retirement in 1984. Anne was a devoted member of Sts. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church in Welland, Ontario. Anne was dedicated to her family and we will miss her dearly. She will be forever remembered in our hearts. For those who wish, memorial donations in Anne's name to Sts. Peter and Paul Church would be appreciated. Private family arrangements have been entrusted to Pleasantview Funeral Home, FONTHILL (905-892-1699). Cremation has taken place and due to Covid-19 restrictions, a celebration of Anne's life will take place at a later date. May she rest in peace.
