It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Shawn A. Segura, a beloved brother, father, and friend, who left us on August 18, 2025, at the age of 51.
Born and raised in Colorado, Shawn was a proud native whose warmth and dedication touched many lives. For 34 years, he was a valued member of the King Soopers family, where he worked tirelessly in roles ranging from Courtesy Clerk to Night Foreman. His work ethic, kindness, and steady presence made him a cherished colleague and friend to many.
Shawn is survived by his loving son Jonathan and his sister Michelle. He was preceded in death by his mother, Debbie, whose memory he held close to his heart.
Shawn will be remembered for his quiet strength, his loyalty, and the gentle way he cared for those around him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Funeral Mass Friday, August 29, 2025, 11:00 AM, Light of the World Catholic Church, 10306 West Bowles Ave., Littleton, CO 80127. Reception to follow service at Light of the World church.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to a local charity of your choice.
