Anne LOWE Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Apr. 28 to May 2, 2015.
LOWE, Anne (Sutherland)
was born in Eston, SK on June 8, 1938. She passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015. Anne leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 57 years Richard, three daughters (Alison Armbruster, Lori Chartier and Lindsay Berglof), five grandchildren and two great grandchildren, a brother Don and her sister Catherine. Anne was predeceased by her parents Annie and Hugh Sutherland, three brothers (Malcolm, Alex and Murray) and her grandson Jordan Chartier.
Anne was educated in Richlea, the Rosetown Convent and City Park Collegiate. When her girls were very young, Anne enrolled in the new nursing program at Kelsey Campus, SIAST. Upon graduation Anne joined the nursing staff at City Hospital and worked for many years on E2 and in the Critical Care float pool. A job change saw her spend several years working in northern Saskatchewan providing contract nursing to those communities. This was followed by several years as the Occupational Health Nurse at the McClean Lake mine, before finally taking a well-deserved retirement!
During her life Anne participated in sports day events at Richlea. Later she took up curling with the Order of Foresters. Anne followed Dick into the membership of 602 Lynx Wing R.C.A.F.A. and she greatly enjoyed the fellowship. Anne spent her leisure time enjoying reading, crossword puzzles and arts and crafts
At Anne's request there will be no service. At a later, sunnier date we will gather at the family cabin at Emma Lake. We shall remember Mom and spread her ashes to join her mother-in-law Betty Lowe in lasting peace.
You can remember Anne by donating to The Saskatchewan Professional
Firefighters Burn Fund - a charity Anne supported for many years.
