Anne and I were legal secretaries for David Witts in Dallas. That was the beginning of a friendship that would last the rest of our lives. We both went separate ways but kept in touch. Anne was generous and gracious and I will never forget her grace.

I am heart broken having just learned of Anne's death I loved her so much and have wondered about her since she left Temple. Have been unable to get any information until half an hour ago. I was so blessed to have had her in my life for even the short time we had.

Anne reached out to me during a time of crisis when my husband, Paul, and I were attending Shady Grove church in 1990. Her extraordinary kindness encouraged me to get the help I needed. Our prayers are with all of her family.

Nancy and I have not seen your mom since about the time of Clint's funeral and since we left Swiss Avenue Counseling Center in May 1988. We loved her so much and she was such a part of making Swiss Avenue happen because of her Christian commitment. From its inception in 1978 til we left in 1988 she was a key person in seeing that hundreds of people got the counseling help that they needed. I am sure that when she entered heaven, the Lord greeted her with a hearty "Well done, good and faithful Servant!" Her Christian commitment unified the initial Board of Directors and kept us moving from the get-go. Thank you so much for sharing your mom with us for all those years. We regret losing track of her during her later years. Please know we are praying for you during your time of loss. God Bless you and your family.

To Wendy and all the family -- Your mother was such a loving and bright light in this world, and her legacy will live on forever. She has touched so many lives and I will never forget her sweet spirit. She was so proud of you, Wendy... I'll always remember that twinkle in her eye when she spoke of you and your family.... and one fine day we will be with our loved ones who have gone on before us.

Anne was such a smart, beautiful, amazing person, in addition to being a fierce competitor, and I feel blessed to have called her one of my dearest and best friends during the 70's.

Mrs. Murchison was definitely a spiritual light during my youth, even though I didn't recognize it then. As a mother I made some decisions based upon things she taught my mother Bobbie Tinsley. I'm grateful for her love and dedication to Jesus Christ. I pray for God's peace.

Anne Ferrell entered my life when I was a very shy teenager. She was everything that I was not, beautiful and out-going. She was always kind to me and to my parents, who felt like she was a real daughter to them. She was still beautiful to the end of her life. She worked very hard and made a good life for her two children. She has loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I will never forget her.
