It was a pleasure to be a "streetwalker" with Miss Annie!!For some reason she gave me the name of "guttersnipe" and "snipe".There was a group of colonials who enjoyed sharing lunches and celebrating birthdays.Miss Annie joined in our treks to Ft. Frederick(funny story there!),Fredricksburg and Williamsburg.Lots of laughs and memories! Miss Annie will be missed by many. May she rest in peace.

I met Anne over 20 years ago when I started working for Three Centuries Tours. She was not only one of my favorite 'colonial streetwalkers", but one of my favorite people as well. She was kind, funny & loving. Many memories of Anne have been going through my mind these last few days, but I think my favorite is remembering her trotting down the streets in her colonial clothing & wearing her hat with the bright red feather! Annapolis is a sadder place without her smile & laughter. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Mistress Anne as we referred to her on the streets of Annapolis will be missed. For a petite woman, she was so feisty, funny and engaging! When I met her, she had been guiding for Three Centuries Tours for quite some time. I learned quickly who was in charge - her spirit was great :) Mistress Anne will be missed in Annapolis. She has left a mark on many a visitor to the historic streets of Annapolis
