ANNE (YOUNG)
On Wednesday, January 28, 2015, Anne (Young) Rose, age 90, of Avalon, formerly of Bellevue. Wife of the late Donald Rose, Sr.; beloved mother of Marianne Desso, Catherine Rocus, Christine Rose, and the late Donald Rose, Jr.; sister of the late Albena Quinn and Adele Stabryla; grandmother of Andrew, Rusty, and Benjamin Rocus. Anne was an active member of the Church of the Assumption as a Christian Mother, Bingo and Festival volunteer, she was a Boy Scouts of America Den Mother, and Jackson School Room Mother. Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 1, 2015, from 1 until 6 p.m. at the LAWRENCE T. MILLER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 460 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Assumption, Bellevue, on Monday, February 2, 2015. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society, 333 E. Carson St., Suite 441, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
