Dear Family and Friends of Anne W. Soraghan, I was not one of Anne's students, but the computer wants me to be. I am a fellow Army Nurse Corps officer. a member of the Army Nurse Corps Association. On behalf of all of us, we extend our deepest sympathy to you. Serving during WWII was not an easy assignment, but I am sure Anne was up to the task. We all say we stand on the shoulders of those Army Nurses who went before us, and this is certainly true of Anne. May she rest in peace.

Sincerely,
Robin A. Hightower

Friends-at-first-sight, Anne and I met in 1962 in what was then West Berlin. Anne was a nurse at the U.S.Army hospital; I was a DOD employee. We bonded over the washing of our little cars out in front of our apartment building! We stayed in touch over the years after Berlin, exchanging cards, calls, letters, infrequent visits to celebrate weddings and anniversaries -- always immediately taking up where we had left off. Anne of the lovely lilting voice, lively wit and great Wgood humor -- the very personification of generosity of spirit. Godspeed, dear friend.

Our sister was a kind, thoughtful, generous, and caring person. She must have kept a: "Laughter is good medicine" file beside her phone because when I called she was always ready to dispense some words of wisdom or her latest joke. She had an infectious laugh.

Margaet and I were lucky to have Sister Anne.

She always said we're here for a short time and not for a long time, so we better have a good time!. Given her omnipresent smile, she lived it too! So long to my terrific Aunt Anne. May God bless her soul and may his countenance shine upon her for eternity.
