We've always felt a soul connection to you all. It was so nice to see all the photos. We definitely remember Annette's early days of practicing cheer leading routines from elementry school days. She has given so much energy, leadership and generosity to so very many, an example of a life well lived and we are thankful for getting to be a small part of it. May the peace & comfort of God fill your hearts and support you all in the days ahead. Our love, John and

Miss Allen taught my three children (2013-2017). How lucky they were to have such a warm, kind, gentle woman as their teacher! They were always glad to see her at school or out and about. We are all so very sad that her life was cut short. You are in our hearts forever, Miss Allen.

Keeping you in my prayers, Allen family. So sad that Annette has passed away. Although we did not stay in contact after high school, I will never forget the countless memories we shared, in classes, sports, church, and band/drill team. She was a wonderful person. So funny and thoughtful and always quick to share a smile. I remember always laughing and being happy in her presence. She will live on in so many people's hearts in memories filled with the joy and caring she graciously shared with all who were blessed enough to share part of her life.

Miss Allen - thank you for loving our granddaughter who has been so upset about losing her teacher whom she called her Mom Teacher. She considered you her mom while she was at school. She dearly misses you and will always treasure the Christmas ornament you gave your students this year. We appreciate you loving her as much as we do. Take care and be in the light and love now!

My deepest condolences to the Allen family. Meeting Annette in seventh grade I discovered what a sweet, intelligent and wonderful young lady she was. A few years ago, I was blessed to enjoy her company once again at our 30th class reunion. Honest and open with sparkles in her eyes and the same infectious smile and laugh, every bit that wonderful young lady I met when we were kids. Annette will be remembered and missed, but I know she is smiling down upon us, a new bright and shining star in the Knight sky.

Annette Allen was my sons teacher back in 2002. He loved her as a teacher and we all loved her as a person. She made my son love to get up every day for school. She will be missed dearly and unfortunately all the new first graders just starting out will be in good hands but they will not have the pleasure of the best teacher in the world. Annette you will be missed. RIP to her family I am so sorry for your loss. It was a privilege having known Annette.

Dear Allen family,
I'm not even sure what to say except to please have comfort knowing how many people's lives Annette touched and how much she was loved by all. I just received her Christmas card last week, I'm going to miss all her letters! I loved her dearly and I am so saddened by this. Cori Williams (Bland)

Annette was truly a kind and caring person. She cherished her friends and family and was a dedicated teacher for hundreds of students. She will certainly be missed by all who lveved her. I am so blessed to have had her as a friend. She sent many cards of encouragement while my late husband battled cancer. Such spirit lifting messages assured us we were not alone. Thank you Allen family for sharing your beloved Annette. My prayers are with you all. From one diehard Coug to Annette, "Go Cougs!"

Annette Allen was truly the ultimate teacher. Her first grade students loved her and will never forget her. My condolences to her family and best friend, Amy Sudbeck. When I substituted in their classrooms, I knew there would be excellent plans for the day. Cottonwood Elementary was made a better learning environment because of Amy.

Having known Annette's parents for 55 years, she was raised in a home with so much love. The family truly cares for one another and values their friends. There is no stranger at the Allen home. Having lost a daughter 5 months ago, their pain is my pain renewed. God Bless all of Annette's siblings, family, teachers and close friends. This world is a better place having Annette in it for such a short time. Rest in Peace sweet angel.

My deepest condolences to the entire Allen family. Annette was a wonderful person and will be missed by all. I had many classes with Annette from seventh grade through high school and have nothing but fond memories of her. She was one of the people that I very much looked forward to chatting with at our class reunions.

With sympathy,
