Louis J. Paganetti, 80, of Allentown, died on Monday, August 5, 2013, surrounded by his family, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. He was the husband of Carol A. (Upshaw) Paganetti. The couple would have celebrated 42 years of marriage on October 20. Born in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Louis and Louise (Poggioli) Paganetti. He received his marketing degree from Seton Hall University where he played on the basketball team and ran track. Louis was an Army veteran serving during the Korean War and was of the Catholic faith. He was in the printing business for more than 40 years, including being the publisher of the former The Mirror in Hazleton. Survivors: Wife; daughters, Kimberly A. Rice of Camp Hill, Tina M. Paganetti of Bethlehem, Michelle L. Border and her husband, Chris, of Coplay, Natalie A. Paganetti of Allentown, Lisa C. Paganetti of Bowers and Nicole M. Paganetti of Catasauqua; 15 grandchildren; and sister, Joan Urso and her children, Yvonne and Joseph. Services: 10 a.m., Saturday, Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th and Hamilton Streets, Allentown, followed by 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, Notre Dame Catholic Church of Bethlehem. A viewing will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, and 9 to 10 a.m., Saturday, all in the funeral home. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
