Annette was about 5 years older than me and I grew up watching her on TV on Walt Disney's show The Mouseketeers. She was lovely and I miss her.
May her memory be a blessing to the multitudes whose lives she touched.

I came to America with my parents and 2 sisters from Avignon, Provence, France. We were immigrants after being through WWII in our country. Everything was new and different, you were there on TV in the Mickey Mouse Club. You, beautiful you, made my 11 year old transition smoother. Thank you, Annette.

Annette was such a dear little girl; it is no wonder she was our favourite Mouseketeer. She came across as genuine and sincere. We grew up with Annette - through our childhood, and teen years - a fun time to be young.

W5 is a Canadian television weekly program Where.What.When.Why.Who. The reporters for W5 in Toronto - flew down to Bakersfield, CA to visit the home of Annette and Glen.

After all these years, I still enjoy taking a visit down Memory Lane and meander through old photo albums of childhood and teen years - included are several photos of Annette and other Mouseketeers, and her teen years as an occasional guest on week days American Bandstand, and Dick Clark´ Caravan of Stars on Saturday night. Life was so much gentler then, and we all had fun.The passage of time is mysterious. My late husband use to remind me "You can visit Memory Lane, but you can´t live on it.

I am heading toward 80, but reading your obituary took me back in time. I became a fan instantly and turned on the MMC as soon as I got home from school. Not only did I watch all 4 segments, I particularly liked Spin & Marty! But seriously, your life story has great impact in my own life. I am grateful that you were part of my childhood. Annette! I´m almost 80 years old. I was 1O when the Mickey Mouse Club first aired!! I have to admit that when I met other children I´d tell them I was you & just visiting in the area. Some believed me. Some didn´t. I felt so important & talented when some believed I was "Annette!"

Oh Annette, I am so late with this but it’s totally heartfelt nonetheless. How much you meant to me in my teenage years! Every day I’d be glued to my TV when the Mickey Mouse Club came on. My whole purpose for existence was to become a Mouseketeer! Unfortunately that didn’t come about but I was blessed with a 55-year career as a studio singer during which time I did a lot of work at the Disney studios and met several Mouseketeers in their adult occupations.Tommy Cole, for instance, worked as a makeup man at NBC Studios. I was 6 years old when Mickey Mouse and the Mouseketeers came on TV . Annette won all our hearts we wanted to be her. I am happy to have been one of those people.

I was always intrigued with Annette, my dad was not one for any kind of movies but when Beach Party came out in 1963 he took me to see it ! That was only the beginning of see all the movies she stared in ! I collected all her music and now have them on DVD May she rest in peace and Thank you Annette for making my teen years special !

Annette was my first childhood crush. My family would stare at me and smile everytime she was on television. I was transfixed. Well, I am noe going on 75 and still have her pictures pinned on my bulletin board at work. I also have a page on facebook titled Annette and Teen Idols, which is dedicated to her and the teen artists f the 50's and 60's. For me, Annette is a daily endeavor. It has been over eight years since my first best friend passed away. Your mom and mine thought going to dance school would draw you out from your shyness, well friend, it worked! I was only a baby when the frist Micky mouse show came out but as i became a toddler i watch the show all the way till i was a in grade school. I watch everyone of your movies when you where young all the beach party movies and watch all them movies again an again when i was an adult. The Mickey mouse was the best for childern. I used my imagination as a kid not what these kids do today. I wish they would put all the reruns so i could have my grandchildern watch you. Although I never wrote Annette a letter during her Mouseketeer days, I, a little young Fourth Grader at Bandini Street School in San Pedro CA, was entranced by this dark haired beauty. I'd rush home after school so as not to miss The Mickey Mouse Club.
My eyes were glued wherever she appeared on the screen.
May she hear Jesus voice when God gives the OK for the promised Resurrection to commence.

I was diagnosed with MS around 1987, and wrote Annette a letter about it. Six weeks later, I got a very nice letter from Annette, and she share with me that she felt bad about my diagnosis and that she was sorry, but she told me that "Things Happen for a reason. Just keep your chin up, be positive, and please by all means keep me posted on how your doing..We're all in this together. God Bless. Love, Annette." I have that letter framed and in the years of my ms it has Progressed to PPMS. I now use a walker, my speech is slurred, but I'm alive and doing ok. I have bad days. Annette never refused to say hi to her fans. She was graceful, very nice, and a great moral booster! God needed a Mouskateer, He got Annette. We miss you!! God Bless your family! We will never forget you. Especially me. Thank you for the letter Annette. it meant a lot to me.

Dearest Annette....it's now 2 years since your passing & the tears flow just the same as it did then. Your beauty, charm, talent & presence will never be matched again.
