Annie “Thelma” Beckman passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at her home. She was born December 25, 1942 in Orangeburg, South Carolina, daughter of the late William and Virgie (Chavis) Morris.
Thelma married Glen H. Beckman on March 4, 1962, at Fort Jackson in Columbia, SC. Thelma lived most of her life in the Town of Clayton, Neenah, WI.
Thelma retired from Kimberly Clark where she had worked for 24 years. She loved to travel and spend winters in Florida with her husband. Her family was everything to her. Thelma loved spending time with her grand-kids and great-grandson, spending time with friends and golfing. Thelma was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Clayton.
Thelma is survived by her husband, Glen; her three sons and grandchildren: Randy and Sara (Taylor, Peyton-special friend Paige Larson and Blaise); Scott (Shannon and Bo); Michael and Christine (Zachary, Desirae - special friend Michael Polley and Jenna); and great-grandson, Anthony Beckman. She is further survived by three sisters: Lynette (Ray) Craft, Margie (Gary) Reeves, Sara Vanmansart; and a brother, Ervin (Lois) Morris; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020, at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, 3703 Fairview Rd., Neenah, with Rev. Paul Meier officiating. The visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 AM until the hour of service. Due to COVID guidelines all those attending must wear a mask or face covering. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Neenah.
In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in her name.

We were so blessed to have had these two as Florida neighbors for several years. I first knew Thelma as an avid golfer and had learned much more of the game by watching her play.
In the more recent years, my husband and I have enjoyed Thelma's sense of humor and upbeat personality in all aspects of life. There will certainly be a void in our Florida neighborhood.
Sending love and prayers to Glen and all the family.

Dear Glen and boys my heart goes out to you with the passing of your sweet Thelma. I was just 15 when we moved to Fondotto drive and met your family. I remember all the neighborhood gatherings and How Thelma would light up a room with her smile and humor. Always kind and gracious Thelma epitomized the meaning of the word ''Lady". The world will shine a little less brightly with her passing.

Glen, Chuck and I send you and your family our sympathy. We both commented to each other that we will miss Thelma's special smile and her upbeat attitude in spite of her medical issues. Our Friends of Ray golf group will continue to miss her on Fridays as we have since you both have not joined us for some time. Thelma is now free from all health issues but we are left with deep sadness for our loss and your even more painful loss. Prayers that your faith will be a source of comfort to you and your family.

Glennie, my heart is breaking. Thelma was a beautiful person. I'll miss her southern charm and how she lit up a room when she walked in. My best New Years Eve memory is singing "Friends in Low Places" with you and Thelma! I smile when I hear that song. I'm sure she'll be singing it with us when we hear it play. I will truly, truly miss her. Sending you and your family hugs and keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
