MOULTRIE — Annie Lora Marshall Moree, 88, of Moultrie, died Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009, at Magnolia Manor South.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Cobb Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Danny Moree officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Born June 21, 1921, in Colquitt County, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas Marshall and Sally Virginia Lasco Marshall. She was a homemaker and a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ernest Moree; her brothers, Marlin Marshall, Buck Marshall, Red Marshall and Ronald Marshall; and her sisters, Mildred Griffin, Esther Millings and Doris Carlton.

Surviving are her daughter, Mary Ellen Roberts of Moultrie; one brother, W.T. "Bull" Marshall of Moultrie; three grandchildren, Ginger Matthews and husband Tony, and Timmy Roberts, all of Moultrie, and Terry Bryant and husband Steven of Doerun; and six great-grandchildren, Raven Roberts, Hunter Roberts, Taylor Bryant, Hanna Bryant, Carolyn Matthews and Isabella Matthews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today, Sept. 15, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Paul Graham (VETERAN)

BARNEY, Ga. — Paul Graham, 85, of Barney, Ga., died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at Woodlands Living Center.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. today, Sept. 15, at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Earl Justice officiating. Entombment will follow in Campground Cemetery in Morven. Casketbearers will be Bubba Croft, Greg Croft, Troy Gay, Bobby Gunter, Rick Gay and Tyron Gay. Deacons of Friendship Baptist Church will serve as honorary casketbearers.

Born Aug. 3, 1924, in Brooks County, he was the son of the late Lewis W. Graham and Janie Cooper Graham. He was a World War II Navy veteran and was a retired farmer.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Christine Martin Graham; his second wife, Dolley DuBois Graham; his brothers, Wilson Graham, Vivian Graham and Everette Graham; and his sister, Janie Ruth Graham.

Surviving are his wife, Faye Tucker Alderman Graham of Barney; one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Graham of Moultrie; two sisters, Mary Evelyn Graham and Janelle Tillman, both of Barney; one grandchild, Paula Tillery of Tifton, Ga.; one great-granddaughter, India Croy; six stepchildren, Wayne DuBois and Kathy Hampton, both of Fernadina Beach, Fla., Lucille Wiseman of Orlando, Fla., Daniel Alderman III and wife Angelie and Diane Wallace and husband George, all of Moultrie, and Donna Stanaland and husband Danny of Alma, Ga.; 13 stepgrandchildren; several stepgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family received on Monday, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Dear Ms. Faye and family
Mr. Paul was a wonderful man and he had such a love of life and he will be sadly missed by his family that loved him dearly and his friends who thought the world of him. Tom and I truly enjoyed knowing Mr. Paul. God bless you in this difficult time.(formerly of Moultrie).
