Annie Weissbecker

WEISSBECKER, Annie Annie was born on the 8th of March, 1924 in Essen, Germany, and passed away on the 5th of September, 2010 in Edmonton, Alberta, aged 86 years. Annie immigrated to Canada with husband Otto and son Peter in May, 1961; welcoming daughter Claudia in Edmonton in April of 1962. She worked for twenty-three years at the Good Samaritan Care Centre as a nursing attendant, retiring in March of 1988. Annie found deeper meaning in Christ through trials and tribulations in Canada, and was a firm believer in prayer, receiving many wonderful answers through her diligence. Annie will be missed by her family; daughter Claudia, and her children Daris and Braelyn; son Peter (wife Corrine) Weissbecker and their children. Donations may be made to The Salvation Army. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Southside Pentecostal Assembly, 2821 - 109 Street N.W., Edmonton, Alberta, with refreshments to follow.
