Anthony A. Cabico Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 2, 2025.
Anthony A. Cabico, lovingly known as Tony, peacefully departed this life on May 25, 2025, at the age of 67 in Santa Rosa, California, surrounded by family who cherished him dearly. Born on October 24, 1957, in Hayward, California, he was the beloved son of Anthony P. and Elodia Cabico, who preceded him in death.

Tony graduated from Crestmoor High School and soon after set off to Santa Rosa, where he built a meaningful life defined by diligence, kindness, and generous spirit. Known affectionately as the "Gentle Giant" and a "Big Teddy Bear," Tony's warmth drew people near. He founded AAC Enterprise, his own janitorial company, briefly served as President at Empire Notes, and proudly held the position of Vice President with the Glaziers Union for almost 12 dedicated years.

Family was everything to Tony. He lovingly supported and cared for his parents until their passing, and maintained strong bonds with his siblings: sisters Chris Cabico Pantelides, Yvonne Bonnie Cabico, Leticia Cabico Roarke, Eva Cabico, and brother John Cabico; in-laws: Carlos Vasquez, Kosta Pantelides, Janet Cabico; well as his adored nieces and nephews-Ted, George, Rich, Melissa, Neialia, Kevin, Theno, Athena, Brandon, Jordan, Khloe, and Niko, and the next generation, Wes, Nic, David, Taya, Andy, Teddy, Veronica, Caleb, and Sophia. Tony also shared an especially tender bond with his beloved fur-babies, most notably Maggie, who gave him great joy.

A simple man with great devotion, Tony joyfully cherished life's everyday moments. He loved good food, quality time with friends and family, appreciating fine brews, and the simple pleasure of sports on television. His spirituality provided him great comfort, regularly attending and volunteering at St. Eugene Church in Santa Rosa, where his faith became a guiding compass through personal challenges.

A private, intimate family gathering honoring Tony's beautiful life will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma, with date determination pending final arrangements.

Psalm 102:4 fittingly reflects Tony's journey: "My heart is afflicted and withered like grass...I forget to eat my food." Though Tony experienced times marked by challenges, his soul continually radiated grace, humility, and a sincere appreciation for life's blessings. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
