Mr. Anthony 'Andy" Paul Blair

Anthony " Andy" Paul Blair, 57, of Columbus GA, passed away Thursday October 14th, 2010 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, October 18th, 2010 beginning at 12:00 P.M. at Glenn Anthony Baptist Church with Pastor Hank Reeves officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday October 17th 2010 from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Vance Brooks Funeral Home 4048 Macon Road. Anthony Paul Blair was born August 20th 1953 son of the late Kenneth and Earlene Blair in Columbus, GA. Anthony worked for the Columbus Government as a traffic technician for over 15 years. Mr. Blair was a Baptist by faith and a member of Glenn Anthony Baptist Church for 25 years. Other than his parents, Kenneth and Earlene, Andy is preceded in death by his grandmother Virginia E. Griffin. Andy is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Blair whom he shared 34 years of marriage, their two children Brooke Blair Taylor and husband Eric, of Fortson, GA. and son Dustin Anthony Blair, of Columbus, GA; Sister Patricia Littrell and husband Lowell, of Columbus, GA; Brothers, Rickey D. Blair of Columbus, GA, and Jimmy Blair of Columbus, GA; Andy was blessed with two beautiful grandchildren that brought much joy to his life, Savannah Grace Taylor and Summer Blair Taylor. Andy is also survived by his Grandmother Adalee Warterman, and two special Aunts Dorothy Goss and Marynell Holmes.
