I can't think of Tony, without also remembering Marilyn. Marilyn drew near to me more than once demonstrating care that nourished my soul. I am indebted to Tony for opening the door to Native America. He was my first Navajo friend and was so patient with me as he helped me to minister to Native Americans in NM and AZ. I thank God for both Tony and Marilyn...Joel Olson

When he reminded me that we can believe, confess, and receive Christ all we want, but that it wouldn´t help had Jesus not shed His blood and died for us in the first place!

We are saddened to hear of Tony Begay's passing. But we are rejoicing that he is now with the Lord in heaven! He was a kind man who loved the Lord with all of his heart. We appreciated his work with InterVarsity to reach out to Native students and his deep investment in the lives of students in the Four Corners area. He will be deeply missed.

We were Stationed at Fort Hood with the Begays. Marylyn was my good friend. We had four children: Erin, Faiths friend, Dawn , Beths friend, Matthew who was Ruth Anns friend.
We shared many dinners and good times. Tony gave us wonderful counsel as we were trying to adopt our 4th child Joey. We were from Albuquerque origionally. Our hearts and prayers go out to the family and their families. Looking forward to seeing Anthony again when we join him in heaven some day.

My condolenses to the family. Tony was a man who demonatrated calm and contentment. I first met Tony when I moved to Albuquerque after college and Tony and Marilyn opened their home without reservation. I will always remember his quick smile and lively / fun eyes, kind words, and wisdom.

Dear Ruthann, Faith, Beth and each of the beautiful members of your families. We are sad to hear about your Dad/Grandpa´s passing. He touched the lives of countless people through his deep faith, peacefulness, wisdom, love and through his strong faith witness. Our prayers are with you all. Rely on our precious Savior´s promise that we will all be reunited one day. Until then you can be sure Anthony is safe with Jesus.
