Anthony F. Berg, age 64, of Brick, NJ passed away December 20, 2021, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. He was born in the Bronx, NY and lived in Lake Riviera section of Brick since he was eight years old. He was the owner and operator of Mug a Bug Pest Control. Anthony loved spending time with his children, he coached their baseball and basketball teams, in his free time he enjoyed playing softball with his team, the Diamond Dawgs.
Anthony is survived by his family, Margaret Faas; children, Anthony Berg, and Michael LaManna; sister Linda Reilly and her husband Sean; brother Kenneth Berg; sister-in-law Joann Berg; nephew, Robert Berg; he also leaves behind many friends and his best friend, his dog, Taz.
A viewing for Anthony will be held on Sunday December 26, 2021, from 3 pm to 7 pm at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road, Brick, NJ 08723, and on Monday from 10 am to 10:30 am. A funeral home service will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Monday. Following the service interment will take place at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River, NJ.

I have your picture on my wall near my desk at work along with my dads, I look at it every day, think of how much I miss you and wondering if you could hear me. I know you’re watching over the boys and keeping them safe. Just know how much I still miss you and how much you are still so loved.

Tony I'm going to miss you.We spent over thirty years working together.Some bad but mostly real good times together.WE had some really good laughs to remember you by.You left us much too soon.Hopefully we'll meet on the other side where we can continue our long friendship.God Bless and pray for you.

I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great man and a damn good exterminator. He help me so much as my exterminator on my first maintenance tech job at Mi Place Apartments in Mt Holly many year ago. Between his teachings he gave me and his knowledge of the property management industry made me the maintenance tech I am today I thank him for everything and may Allah rest his soul and open the gates of heaven wide open for him!!!!!
