Anthony Joseph Bruno

Mr. Anthony was a great man, and former employer. Mr. Anthony and James Luke gave me my first job at age 15. Mr. Anthony never forgot who I was and he taught me so much about the grocery business. He was a good friend and will be missed by everyone that knew him.

Mr. Anthony, was a great man that was loved by everyone that knew him. Mr. Anthony gave me my first job when I was still very young, sacking groceries at the Bruno Store on 6th Ave and 12 Street South. Mr. Luke was Mgr and Gene Russo was Asst. Mgr. Even after all the years that had passed, Mr. Anthony never did forget who I was and what stores he had me working in. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. Again he was a great man.

My first job after college was an assistant store manager and then moved to the HQ in Bessemer. I met Mr Bruno and remember him as a warm and sincere family man. Genuine and cared for his employees. I'm very appreciative of the opportunity and the lessons learned from his growing company. My condolences to the family for your loss.

Just read about Mr Anthony's passing and he will be missed by all; what a great man. We all learned a lot from him and I am personally a better person to have worked for him. Thanks

I didn't know Mr. Bruno, but, I have always admired the entire family in Birmingham. So proud & happy they chose Birmingham to extend their talents in giving such good service & wonderful culture to our city. RIP, Mr. Bruno..
