Anthony Castelbuono Obituary
Anthony was survived by his wife, Leyin Ouyang, and his son and daughters, Frank, Diane, Ellen, Deborah, and Juliann. He was predeceased by his mother, Aida Scanio Castelbuono, and his father, Frank A. Castelbuono. He had no children with Leyin Ouyang, though they have had five dogs throughout their 25 years of marriage.
Anthony was the single child of Frank and Aida Castelbuono.
Anthony went to and graduated from Regis High School, Fordham University, and Harvard Law School. He lived in New York, New York; South Orange, New Jersey; Henderson, Nevada; and Las Vegas, Nevada.

Always comforting and reassuring to realize that you are here, though not in body, but in soul. Body represents life and living, but soul represents all of your intellect, all the strength (and weakness which are inseparable from and are mere natural accompaniment or extension of your strength) of your character, personality..., all of which are the true essence of your ever and forever existence.
Thoughts...musing... such as these make me very content, Tony, on a random morning and day like this, May 17th, 2025.
Love, in all of its complexity and deepest and everlasting sense.

Tony passed away leaving behind cherished memories. One of the earliest memories with me was when Leyin and Tony drove all the way from New York City to see us in Toronto 20 years ago. I still remember how knowledgeable he was about food, history, weather - Tony knew about everything! And best of all, he had a great sense of humor and a big smile all the time. During the trip to China many years ago, Tony told my parents a funny story of Chinese history, which really impressed my parents. Tony is always able to spark an engaging conversation with everyone, no matter the topic! Tony always has new stories to tell, we´re very saddened by his passing.
Tony´s warm smile, gentle spirit, and loving nature will be dearly missed but fondly remembered.

I too greet the news of Tony's passing with a heavy heart. I hope it doesn't sound too light-hearted to recall Tony, beyond his intelligence, was a great pool player - in the senior room and at Pete's pool parlor on 86th Street. He and I would often head to Pete's after class. Tony would hustle the occasional patron; I would just watch and admire. He'd be grinning from ear-to-ear as we walked down the steps to head home. Great character, great memories.

Although didn't know Tony that well when we all were going through adolescence at Regis High School, I do remember his friendliness, good humor, and happy spirit..
