Anthony CROMBIE Obituary
November 28, 1943 – July 26, 2013
Tony passed away suddenly at Hartford Hospital after a brief battle with lung cancer. He was the loving son of his late parents Marcus George "Bud" Crombie and Joan Ada Grosse, big brother to his sisters, the late Patricia "Pat" (Jacques Roy) and Judy (Stuart Cleland). Super uncle to Michel (Chantal), Christine (Billy) and Jason (Florence), great-nephews, great-nieces and many other "family" connections. Nephew to Helene Morrison of Australia and the late Harry Green of the UK, and also cousins here and abroad. Long-time friend of the McDonagh and McFarlane families as well as his special Hartford connections. Heartfelt and grateful thanks to Dr. Todd Alekshun and his whole team at Hartford Hospital, and to Kevin and Jan Connolly, without whom we would have been lost. As per his wishes, there will be no service however a celebration of Tony's life will be held at a later date, notice to follow. Private family burial.
It wasn't supposed to end this fast, thought we would have had a bit more time with him but the big guy did it his way. Love you always....

Judy, I have looked at Tony´s obituary so many times, and always feel a great loss for your family. I have so many good memories of him. How, we used to watch TV, you, Patsy, me and Joan. He was a great guy and I was so broken up when we parted, however, life adjusts. I wii never forget your family

Sincere condolences to Judy & Stuart from Craig & Linda. A great guy Tony was & he will be missed immensely by all he touched. If we had a nickel for each of the laughs he gave us we'd never have to buy lottery tickets again. RIP old buddy.
