Anthony Crone Obituary
Anthony T. "Tony" Crone, 67 of, Westminster, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at North Pines Assisted Living in Manchester.
Born Dec. 16, 1944, in Howard County, he was the son of the late Lawrence J. Crone Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Henning Crone.
He was a veteran of the Air Force, serving during Vietnam. He worked for the telephone company as a technician.
He was a gun collector and member of the CSS Alabama and the North Carroll Rod & Gun Club.
Surviving are brothers Lawrence J. Crone Jr. and wife Lynne, of Alum Bank, Pa., Thomas Crone and Janice Steiner, of Mount Ranier, and Paul M. Crone, of Westminster; a brother-in-law, Charles R. Tansill, of Jessup; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
He was predeceased by a sister, Mary C. Tansill.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills.
Memorials may be sent to the North Pines Assisted Living, 3316 Wilhelm Lane, Manchester, MD 21102.
