Thought about you today family. 17 years later it still doesn’t feel real or register. One of the first childhood friends I made in elementary school. Hate you didn’t get to grow to be the man we all knew you’d be. Gone entirely too soon with your entire life ahead of you. Rest peacefully and continue to enjoy eternal life on the other side. We’ll catch up again. My word. Until we meet again boss man.

Today is one of those days, so I googled your name to find your guest book... and I read all of the great comments from former classmates, friends and your family. Really hate you left this earth so soon, but know you are missed Anthony. See you later.

Anthony I just seen your mother yesterday and now I can't stop thinking about you bro. I know GOD is enjoying your company. But I really miss you bro, life is so crazy down here.

Today makes it an complete year that you have been gone.. it seems just like yesterday I was talking you about how ATL is much better than charlotte lol. but now that you are gone, I will always keep your memories alive and always remember this day, that you was not only laid to rest but was giving to the best.... Dear Godoy Family,
I am truly sorry for your lost. Anthony was a wonderful young man with a brillant personality and a beautiful smile. It seems like yesterday all of the boys were riding their bikes and playing basketball, football and baseball in my yard. I pray for your family daily. Anthony i just cant get over your death. I miss you every day...everything reminds me of you...from chik fil a.....to songs! Im so proud of you because you changed for the better and you became such a mature young man. Man this is crazy, I'm not ready to say goodbye so soon! Out of the eight years I've known you, you've kept a smile on my face. Especially these last two years, because I've watched you grow so much. Words can not begin to express the effect the death of Anthony has on everyone. Losing friends is something that we all have to cope with at some point or another but, when we are so young and we have to deal with it so often it makes it harder. But, I believe that GOD has a plan for all of are lives. If Marquez death wasn't a wake up call this should be. They are both together again, clowning and joking around as always. Ant you will be truly be missed. To the family Ant, was a very loved person. And we all will miss him. You have a lot of people praying for you.

I had the opportunity to get to know and talk with Anthony during the twenty-two weeks Anthony and my son Deronte Reid spent at Youth Challenge in Fort Stewart,GA.They both were excited about their future and moving ahead.I will never forget Anthony's beautiful smile and the respect he had when my husband and I would return him and Deronte back to Youth Challenge from their weekend past.Anthony you did it!!!!!My prayers are with you Betty and your family.Anthony you will be missed but never forgotten you are in a better place.

When I heard the about Ant passing i was really upset because only the day before he was smiling laughing and congratulating me on my graduation. I was so upset because I was friends with Marquez and Ant and to have lost them both in so little time was devastating. I pray that his family and close friends will be okay and they will celebrate his life far more longer than they mourn. Everything happens for a reason and quez and ant will never be forgotten. RIP Ant... i miss you so much!!

My prayers goes out to the Godoy family. I had the pleasure of being one of Ant classmates at Atlanta Technical College under "Patient Care Tech" Program 2007. Ant OUR graduation is this Sat 6/9/07 as I walk across the stage SO WILL YOU IN ALL OF OUR HEARTS. Anthony choosing the medical field was truly his passion as a young man who loved, cared, respected and was always willing to help others. Anthony knew how to respect his elders with NO MAM/YES SIR as well as say "THATS REAL TALK SHORTY" to his peers. Ant (our) next step/goal was to become a LPN'S. Well Ant I guess you now will be my inspiration as well as my classmate with WINGS to encourage and lift me through nursing school. Anthony you will always have a special place in my HEART!

Just wanted to share my condolences to the family for their loss. Cause A close friends loss is loss for all.He is loved and He will be missed.Remember!!

May God be with you and your family during this time of loss. I remember the conversations with Anthony in Atlanta and also seeing him in NC. He is in a better place now, and is at rest.

There was not one time you couldn't tell Ant that he wasn't fly. Whenever you were around him you knew there was one point in the conversation that he would make you laugh. My condolences to the Godoy Family. I didn't know Anthony that well, but everytime I seen him he always had a bright smile on his face. I was sadden to hear the news, it just seems as times are too hard to bare. I know that God would not put more on us than we could bare, so I look at the bright side. Ant is RESTING & WAITING for US to JOIN HIM!!

To Sister Betty and the family i love you guys sooooo much. I still can not believe that Ant is gone. He will be truly missed. We are praying for the family.

Anthony will not be forgotten, he will always have a place in my heart. I share your grief, Anthony was also my son. He was just a ball of joy, and very delightful to be around.

This tragic accident really hurt’ me; I will always remember his gentle smile and warmth. We will get through this together May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as we celebrate a life well-lived.

I am a friend of Anthony's who went to school with him at Sanford Brown. We all miss him so much. Myself and some of the other fellow classmates had the pleasure of going to his home today, speaking and meeting with his family, and our prayers go out to all of them. From the little time that we had to converse, his mother was truly an inspiration in his life and one of the greatest people that you will ever meet in a life time. MOM, if you ever need ANY of us, we will be there!
Although he was the only boy in the class, he stood his ground and let everyone know how "FLY" he was, and that he will graduate! We couldn't do anything but laugh, cause it was true! Even though he came to class LATE EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!! He did made it there!
We all had to stay on him, but he made it! We miss you Anthony! "REAL TALK SHAWTY!

To the mother of Anthony, my son and Anthony were friends but,unfortunately we never got a chance to meet. Having 3 boys myself and to loose one I'm sure it's not like anything anyone should have to experience. But, GOD knows best. So,our hearts and our condolences goes out to you and your family. But remember,he is now with the lord. An angel by his side looking down on you saying "mom I'm alright,this is where I want to be,here,with my heavenly father". So mother and the rest of the family. My thoughts and prayers are with the family of "Ant". He was good friends with my children and I remember when his friend marques passed and he came to my house distraught and didnt know what to do. I sat in the kitchen with him and my kids and I talked to him for a couple of hours and I know this child was hurting and I hoped for him to find comfort and do what is right and he did. He is now at peace despite this tragic accident. He was a sweet young man. My daughters will miss you and so will I.

Anthony was my first cousin, I have seen him grow from and infant to an young man. I will never forget all the special times we shared, for you are family and you never be forgotten.
