I was beyond saddened to find out, only now, that Tony has passed. in our brief, but intense National Trust time together he was a supportive adviser/mentor plus unrelenting tennis opponent. He also recruited me to replace Patsy as Toronto Opimian Area Secretary, including one unforgettable Saturday morning, after a long evening, to the bowels of the LCBO warehouse to transport, the newly arrived 1975 futures to be deposited, for subsequent distribution, from my basement in our modest North Toronto home. Fighting naseau, I soldiered on until, the task completed, i think the value of the wine in our basement exceeded the value of the house in 1978.
I'm sure he and Billy Foote are sharing numerous wine soake evenings up above.
Belated cheers Tony. Patsy, Vicki and my thoughts are with you.

My condolences to Pat - Tony and I were close friends at St. Albans School for many years. I only heard to-day (18 Dec 2018) that he had passed away, and am deeply saddened by that news. Trevor Tyson, 8 Beachcomber Lane, Torquay, Victoria Australia 3228. [email protected]

Sorry to see you go Tony. You were a mentor at National Trust and an inspiring optimist. Thank you for being a helpful part of my life.
