Dear Joy
I am sorry I could not come yesterday to present my condoleances to you. I know Anthony was your best friend and glorious husband and that a major void has become a reality for you. I am also certain that with time you will be able to preserve the memories of all the fantastic moments you spent together.
Allow me to offer you a 'virtual' hug

I enjoyed singing with Anthony in the Stairwell Carollers and greatly appreciated his fine sense of humour. Best wishes to his family.

I grew up on boats in the presence of Anthony at our sailing club and through his tutalege rapidly came to appreciate the difference between 'amateur' and 'professional' when it came to the management and handling of sailboats...Anthony was larger than life, welcoming, challenging, supportive, infuriating, matter-of-fact, stubborn, principled, side-splittingly hilarious, thoughtful and a mate you could count on when on a lee shore. “Voyage upon life's sea, To yourself be true, And, whatever your lot may be, Paddle your own canoe”

Rest in peace, dear friend.

Anthony was a real character full of life with an endless supply of stories to share. The world will certainly be less without him.
