Anthony A. Latevola, age 78 of Ocala, died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Latevola was born in New York City on February 9, 1932 to the late Antonio & Filomena (Biccari) Latevola and moved here in 1991 from Bergen County, New Jersey. He retired from the Paramus High School in New Jersey as a teacher and served our Country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the Navy League and Big "T" Veterans Association. He is survived by his wife, Claire J. Latevola, his son, Robert (Carol) Latevola of Barnegat, NJ, two daughters, Linda Farrow of Ocala, Theresa (Sal) Pizza of Hewitt, NJ and two grandchildren, Nicole & Shania. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County. The family will receive friends in visitation on Thursday, December 2, 2010 from 2-4 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon. Memorial services with full military honors will follow on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. from the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.

Claire, we will always cherish the visit you and Tony made to Texas to be with his childhood friend and our father, Frank Natonick. Tony made the world a much better place with his wit, humor, and good natured soul. Like you and the children, we will miss him and always hold a special place in our hearts for him.
