Cindy & Family,

I was saddened to learn of Tony's passing. Although it's been many years since I last saw the two of you, I have always remembered Tony as being a very kind gentleman. One time when I was working for Verizon and repairing a circuit for the FBI at an aerial site in Greentree, I asked the site representative if he knew of Tony, to which he replied that not only did he know him, but that he had also received important training from Tony, upon his start of a career with them and of course, he spoke very highly of him. While I was home on leave from the Navy and celebrating Easter with the Turkowski's in North Versailles, Tony, while eating his dinner, took the time necessary to advise me of the route to take, to not only get to Washington DC, but to also continue the rest of the way on my journey to Norfolk VA, to return to my ship, as this was going to be my first trip ever driving from Pittsburgh, to the Naval Base. He also drew a detailed map for me on a napkin, thereby giving me a much needed boost of confidence as I embarked on my lengthy excursion, many years before GPS was available. I would always seek him out whenever I attended Turkowski events and he always provided me with good conversation, no matter what the topic was about.
Please know that another star is burning brightly in the sky, now that he has entered Eternity with our Lord. May God bless him and your entire family, as you mourn your tremendous loss!
Sincerely,
Ronald Orchowski
