Anthony Quinn Mcneil

Mr. Anthony "Safe" Quinn McNeil was born April 28, 1963 in Florence, South Carolina to Clarence McNeil and Annie Mae McNeil. He departed his life suddenly on November 21, 2009 at Carolinas Hospital System. "Safe" as he was lovingly called, attended the Florence County Public Schools. He served in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge. "Safe" was a member of Majority Baptist Church. He was a devoted father of two children, a loving son, brother, and friend. He leaves behind to cherish his memories: one son, Maurice Williams of Florence, SC; one daughter, Ashia McNeil of Timmonsville, SC; one grandson, Nyquan Williams of Florence, SC; his father, Clarence (Bernell) McNeil of Poola, GA; his mother, Annie Mae McNeil of Mesa, AR; four brothers, Thomas Ashley Jr. of Washington, DC; Rhodes Singleton Jr. of Mesa, AR; Clyde McNeil of Florence, SC and Brian McNeil of Poola, GA; six sisters, Lugenger Scott of Florence, SC; Barbara Davis of Mesa, AR; Claretta McNeil-Chandler of Florence, SC; Rebecca McNeil of Florence, SC; Samantha McNeil of Mesa, AR and Margaret McNeil of Poola, GA; one stepbrother, James Ballard of Florence, SC; a special niece, Britteny Thomas of Florence, SC; and a host of aunts, uncles, other nieces, nephews, other relatives, many close and special friends.
