My Condolences to The Maestros Brothers and Sisters. I was honored to call Tony my friend. I first met Tony in the mid seventies he was recommended to me by Carolyns piano teacher John I got to know Tony for all those yrs a true Gentleman and as someone already said a "walking encyclopedia " his visits to my Barber Shop sitting in my chair while I cut his hair was always to short on time once we started our "talks". Always hoping that my next client would either be late or not show up at all so that we could continue our discussions. There was no subject that we could not spend hours talking about if we had the time. On one of his visits I introduced Tony to Warner Kempler. My next clien Best remembered for playing the role of Colonel Klink in Hogans Heroes knew they would have something in common since Warner father was the Famous Conductor who also knew Tony mentorLeopold Stokowsky. Tony told Warner that he had heard many stories about his dad and Warner said to Tony "you tell me the stories and I will tell you if they are true". So Tony must of told Warner maybe seven to ten stories and Warner would say yes or no and would elaborate on the true ones I was privileged to have people like Tony as clients and Friends. Last heard from Tony two weeks before he passed He called me to tell that he could not make to the shop. I offered to go to his place and cut his hair Tony said to me he will let me know. Never to hear from him Two weeks later George that wonderful man at the desk in Tony s building a caring man who looked out and helped Tony called to tell me of his passing RERST IN PEACE TONY

I worked with Maestro Morss in a few productions in NYC. I really enjoyed singing with him. He was a good conductor and a pleasant person to collaborate with. Condolences to his family and may he rest in peace.

I had the privilege of meeting Tony when he visited family in Bonita Springs, FL. For several years he would entertain a small group of lucky friends and neighbors with a mini concert in Bonita as only he could. If Tony was not entertaining us with his musical talent, he would keep us amazed with his vast knowledge and enjoyable wit. He was a handsome and charming person. He will always be remembered because he was a very special person. Thank you Strafford and Irene for sharing him with your friends!
