Anthony O'Rourke

I lived in North Square Hampstead Garden Suburb in the early 1960s. Our neighbours were the O´Rourkes. The family included identical twins Tony and Paul, known to all as `TonyPaul´. As I recall only their mother could tell which one was which. The only other thing I remember was going round one morning to find them having chocolate cake for breakfast. In 1960s England this was unimaginably glamorous and the way I imagined all Americans lived. I think of them whenever I think of my old home. Then today, for no particular reason, I Googled them and this page turned up. I am certain this is the same family. Apologies if not. Very best wishes.

Steven passed away last year but I know he would want me to tell you how very fond of Tony he was during their time together in Coral Springs. Tony was a force and we both truly adored him. Dear Suzy and Family,

I was fortunate early in my career, as General Manager of Park Hyatt BC 2006-2010, to have Tony as a seasoned and strategic partner of the BC Resort Company. Always quick witted and straight forward, Tony brought his smarts and tenacity each and every day. I learned from him and I respected him. He was a role model on how to live life. My heart aches for you. I have known Tony since we were next door neighbors in Kailua. We were inseparable for the four years he lived in Hawaii, and share many, many adventures.
