My Soul Mate, my treasure, my shadow, my Tony...
The thousands of messages you sent me. The endless hours of talk,
never wavering, never bored, always searching, always energizing, satisfying.
The beam of joy on your face when I came home after a long day. Your smile was intoxicating.
The yearning we had to be near each other every moment of every day.
The laughs we had, the tears we shed, the secrets we shared.
Your strong arms that held me, the way you always cared.
You were my oxygen, my life, my shining star.
My lovely blue eyes, my sweetheart true - my heart is broken, my will is weakened.
You left this world far too early. You left me with an unfillable void.
I ache for you my darling and always will.
I stand incomplete, heartbroken and sad.
We had so many dreams, so many journeys to fulfil.
Tranquillity in Siberia as we only knew.
You tried my darling, you tried all the time. You gave me my breath but I couldn't give it back to you...
You'd given up your race; you had to do it as only you knew.

My lovely blue eyes, Tony ... they say that as time passes, it heals. Well, after 5 long years, the hurt hasn't gone and the pain in my heart remains very real and raw. I try to turn my emptiness away by the consumption of daily life. It subsides but then returns every night when I lay myself down to sleep. Thoughts of you make me smile, make me sad, make me laugh and make me cry...You were such a beautiful man who will always beat strong in my heart. Life is cruel when I think about the time we should be sharing together today...but life has also been wonderful to have had our paths cross and share so many beautiful memories....I love you today more than ever and I long to see your beautiful smile across from me ..... My lovely brother...It's been 5 years since you left us. To me it still often seems like it's not real. I imagine catching up like we used to each time I was in town, but since moving back home to Perth it has truly hit home that my big bro is gone for good. Loved you and will do always. Missed you and will do always. Hoped for you to be happy, safe and at peace which I can only imagine you may be - and I do with love each day. You were a special brother, a special person, a special man who so many people have shed a tear for - but you left behind memories of a mischievous and playful smile, a strength of heart that not many I know could match, and a want to live a life full of laughter and enjoyment. You deserved love and you were given it. You deserved respect and it followed you. You deserved peace and it came.
