Dear Dolores, Anthony and family members,
I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Tony's passing. I did not here about the memorial until after the fact. He and I had gotten together on several occasions since his stroke, most recently during the time that you were visiting relatives back east. Usually he would call me about once a week and we would make plans for me to pick him up and spend a couple of hours together. The last words I said to him were, "If you need any help getting that garage cleaned out before your Mom and Dad return, call me because mine looks like Nagasaki bombed so this will be a piece of cake!" We departed with our usual goodbyes: "I'll see you soon, Tonester" to which he would reply, "Don't 'Williminate' me," "Bon Jovi!" So many good, funny memories (and of course then nights getting the"Los Gatos Insider" ready....) I will miss him greatly; you both remain in my thoughts. I will contact you soon.
Sincerely,
William Heinrich
