Anthony L. Salerno
July 19, 1942 - March 30, 2023
Bradenton, Florida -
Anthony (Tony) Salerno was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on July 19, 1942. He died in hospice on March 30, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie (Penny); brother, Sam (Sue); sister, Ann Marie; nephews and nieces; Monica (Jeff), Kim, Michelle, Trisha (Bobby), Steven (Becky), Aaron (Dawn), Sam (Tony) and Anna; great-nephews and nieces; Josh, Jake (Heather), Alexandria, Leah and Eva; and great-great-nephew, Watson.
A graduate of Loras College, Tony worked 35 years for the Social Security Administration. He held numerous positions of responsibility ending his career in 1999 as a computer specialist. After retiring, he remained the "computer guru" for many of his friends and family. His passions were music, history, reading, auto races, old movies, the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers (despite the fact that Penny was a White Sox and Bears fan). Together with Penny, he traveled the world.
Funeral arrangements will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army or your local food bank would be greatly appreciated.

I have wonderful memories of Tony. We worked in the same Social Security office for several years and exchanged Christmas cards after he and Penny moved to Florida. He was a great friend. My condolences to Penny.
