Dear Lorraine and family...I am so sorry to learn of Sal's passing. He was such a wonderful man and my Dad loved him very much. I will always remember his kindness toward me when I was just starting out in the Newton Public Schools, and you helping me on my apartment search. Please accept our deepest condolences. Love, Patty Mason (Dick and Rose's daughter)

Sal was an incredible man. He always made folks laugh, and treated everyone like family. We had a great working relationship, but more importantly he was a good friend. Sal was always there to help in any way he could. I wish him peace. To the family, I offer my deepest condolences for your loss.

When you were in the presence of Sal, there was an air of happiness and laughter. We were at the fringe of the Salvucci family through our son's marriage to his niece Eleanor. "Sal" and Lorraine soon became much more than just another in-law. Sunday breakfast at our home in Newton was an occasion we looked forward to. A true friend you could count on. Time and distance takes its toll without on going personal contact and dims memories of yesterday but in our personal ledger there is a page with a title that says it all. "Sal, thank you, so proud to have known you. may you Rest in eternal peace....Ed and Marie Dutton

My Uncle Sal was one of the most interesting characters I have ever known, and I do mean character. I was privileged to get to know him well at a young age creating a bond between us that was very special. There are memories of our trip to Notre Dame for my brother Ralph's graduation; our "date" to Joe Tecci's after recuperating from surgery for me and for him to test out his new teeth; always having to make an extra batch of turkey stuffing just for him it didn't matter if he was at dinner or not, he had to have his own (he loved my Mom's recipe) This went on for many years...
there are so many stories,
I could easily write a book...maybe someday
For now my heart goes out to Aunt Lorraine and all of my cousins on the passing of my dear uncle. There is a whole in my heart that no one else could ever fill
I will miss you Dear Uncle and you know that your "beautiful" niece loves ya!

Sal was my Godfather. One of my best memories was when Sal would come to my parents house in Auburndale on Sunday mornings for breakfast. My father Joseph G. Bradley, my Aunt Helen Williamson and another family friend Henry Bourjois would have friendly & lively discussions usually about something political. These discussions continued until my father passed away in 1992. Sal was a great man and a great Godfather.
