Anthony Sikorski Obituary
Anthony L. "Tony" Sikorski, 61, of Stevens Point, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016, at Ministry St. Clare's Hospital in Weston.
He was born on Sep. 5, 1954, in Stevens Point, to Henry and Virginia (Kosobucki) Sikorski, and was a 1972 graduate of Pacelli High School. He worked at Ore-Ida in Plover, later becoming McCain Foods.
Tony was going to become a Grandpa for the first time in February of 2017. His interests included watching the Packers and Brewers and he loved his cars.
Survivors include his son, Matt Sikorski of Plover; daughter, Becky (Stefan) Adams of Eureka, Missouri; mother, Virginia Sikorski of Stevens Point; sister, Dorothy (David) Krembs of Manitowish Waters; and brother, Jerry (Cindy) Sikorski of Whiting.
Tony was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; father, Henry; infant sister, Janet; and Godson, Jacob Krembs.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stevens Point. Burial will follow in Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time for Mass. Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be assisting the family. Tony's family, you have my deepest sympathy. I met Tony at Generations Assisted Living where my mother (Lucy) was a resident. I always enjoyed talking with him while I was there visiting her. My mom passed away early one morning and when I got there, Tony was with her. He didn't want her to be alone until we arrived. He was a kind and wonderful man and he will be missed.
