The daughter of Maltese immigrants, Toni was born in Detroit on November 18th, 1959. After graduating from Crestwood High School in Dearborn Heights, Toni attended Central Michigan University. While in Mt. Pleasant, Toni met the love of her life, Mark Talbot. They married in 1982 and eventually settled in Williamston Mi, where they raised two children, Eric and Paige.

Toni was an active member of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce throughout her career. The business was sold in 2013 And will be celebrating 30 years of operation in June.

In 2006 Toni was diagnosed with Early Onset Parkinson's Disease. Toni made the best of her situation; working with the Michigan Parkinson's Foundation and Parkinson Voice Project she spent time advocating for research, presenting her experience, fundraising, and writing a picture book.

I was so sorry to hear of Toni's passing. She was such a passionate ambassador for the Parkinson's community; such an inspirational force and full of life. We will carry her memory forward. My thoughts are with you and your family, Mark, and with the rest of this wonderful community that will miss her.

Toni was one of a kind. She was witty, devout, compassionate and brave. She
gave whole heartedly to her family, her career, her faith and managing her disease.

She was sponsor for both of our children´s confirmations to the church. She made an indelible impression on both of them. Truly , our world was made better with our acquaintance with Toni.

Who can forget Toni's lovely always-ready smile? Well, maybe that smile was a little muted at Parkinson's exercise, 7 am Tuesdays. But we were there! I sort of looked to her as an example of what to expect next, as we both modeled "intent." And Mark is a wonderful example of what to do, too. Our sincere condolences.

Fly high my friend and know your absence without a doubt will be missed. You left an impact on everyone you came in contact with and especially mine. Last time we spoke in person I had said, "Slow down flash!" I could barely catch up to you when I saw you. You smiled and we laughed. Forever in our hearts!

Dear Mark,
We are so sorry to hear about your family´s heartbreaking loss of Toni. Our dear friends John and Martha Quain informed us of her death. I remember running into Toni by chance shortly after she was diagnosed. The Quains were inspired by Toni´s witness to a vivacious life even with Parkinson´s.
We will remember Toni from our days at St. Mary´s Willamston and, of course, our shared connection to CMU. She was a dynamic, beautiful person, and I know the two of you enjoyed a wonderful life together.
May the angels sing her in with all the saints ushering her to her place at the heavenly banquet among them, where she will be bathed in eternal light and peace. We praise God for the gift of faith, which teaches us Hope Eternal. May God send angels of mercy to comfort you and your family.
Our sincerest condolences,
John and Mary Jo (Irish) Thayer

My prayers are with the Talbots at this time. Toni was a spark of light in all of our classes at the Michigan Athletic Club and she will be missed. May God have her at his right hand and protect her.

So sorry to hear this. I was in the marching band with Toni and truly admired and liked her. She was so vibrant, fun, and giving. Even at that age everyone knew she was going to continue on to great things. RIP Toni, I´m sure Heaven welcomed you with open arms and some music by Chicago.
