A sweet, dainty, joyful Christian spirit. What a blessing it was to have her as a friend. We met at the Hampton Choir Guild many years ago in the soprano section. We kept in touch over many years and looked forward to our June Conference reunion. This is a painful loss. She will be missed.

My heartfelt condolences to the family for peace and strength. I was so very saddened to learn of Anti's passing. I had the great pleasure of meeting Anti when we worked together at Temple Health. I feel very blessed that we remained sister friends for over 50 years and shared many cherished years of fun with our family and friends. I'll miss her always for her kindness and sweet spirit. Rest in peace my sister in the arms of our heavenly father until we meet again.

In loving memory of a wonderful person.
I had the pleasure of meeting Antoinette when we both worked at the Rohm and Haas Spring House location. Antoinette had been there for many years prior and when I moved to that location from the Philly Plant, she welcomed me instantly. There was an older sister (motherly) type of feeling that she had my back and if I needed help with anything or with dealing with anyone just let her know.
Antoinette was well respected. She had a calm, sweet and soft spoken personality. But, don’t let her find out there’s a problem and you didn’t let her know about it!
During that time, the African American population at Rohm and Haas (especially SH) was not very large. She and Lee worked with the NOBCChE organization at the site, to bring more African American Chemists and Chemical Engineers into Rohm and Haas.
Sorry to hear of her passing and wished I had stayed more in touch throughout the years.
My prayers and condolences are sent to the Family of Antoinette Baines Collier who I fondly remember from Germantown HS. What a lovely lady was she. May she Rest in Heavenly Peace.

We are going to miss this sweet blessed soul. Anti, the beautiful memories will be endless, your beauty, both inside and outside, will never be forgotten. We were all touched by your warmth and boundless caring. Heaven truly gained another angel, I know this for you were an angel right here on earth. Dear cousin, you will be sorely missed by all...I will miss you,

When I was a little girl, I was so intrigued by the presence of Ms. Antoinette Baines who was a teen when I met her. I always referred to her by using her full name because of her presence. She lived in the next block from me and we would often cross paths at the corner of Beechwood and Spencer early Sunday mornings and I would feel so honored when she would allow me to walk with her to Corinthian Baptist Church. It was a short walk, but I felt so important and honored to walk with a teenager. Oh the thought of a little girl! Antoinette was always nice to me. She was the essence of sweetness not only extended towards me, but to everyone. She was such a beautiful girl physically, but she had a much deeper inner beauty. As I grew from a child, to a teen to an adult, Antoinette remained the female that I strived to model in my life. She was always humble and sweet, impeccably dressed and hair always perfectly styled. Her attitude never changed towards me. She was always the same Antie. She has been set free from her beautiful body, but her immense Christ-like spirit reigns beyond her life here on Earth. So many loved and love her. So many were blessed by her presence. Well done my good and faithful sister. Looking forward to see you on the other side. Condolences to her family especially her beloved sweet sister Carrie.

Antoinette Baines Collier was a true woman of God. She loved God and God's Son,the Lord Jesus Christ. I knew Antoinette since 1964 when I joined Corinthian Baptist Church at age 14 years old. I will miss her pleasant face and her continuous kindness.

When I first met Antionette while working at the Rohm and Haas Company, Spring House, Pa, she surprised me and asked about my mother, sister and grand mother by name. I immediately called my mother and it was a reunion for them. Antionette and my family went a ways back.
Well, I know another reunion has now taken place as they all dwell in the house of the Lord now.
My deepest and sincere condolences to the family. May the Lord comfort and strengthen you.

My prayers are with the Baines and Collier families in the loss of Antoinette.
Antoinette was a true warrior for Christ. She was also a great mentor to the young ladies of the Corinthian Baptist Church of Germantown.
To Grace Young, Antoinette was a mother to Grace who shaped her into the young lady she is today!
Antoinette will forever be missed by Grace and so many others.
In Christs name,
Alicia Mason Sides
