In memory of
Jeanne C Pass
May 24, 2021
I guess my wonderful cousins said it all. I think about my Auntie Etta, Auntie Sophie and Auntie Gloria every day, I always remember their laughter with my Mom every time they got together. I miss the times at Auntie Etta's with the pool, games, and the food the time she came to Italy with us and made us laugh everyday looking for meds. She was a wonderful Aunt and person I miss her very much and I miss all the wonderful days spent with my aunts and cousins Love Jeanne

Dear Jackee,Cindy,and Gary,
On your mom’s anniversary, I still have such strong memories
of the many moments shared with Auntie Etta. Your mom was a very influential woman to me, sharing her sage advice during some of my most trying times in life. I will always remember her as someone I could lean on for love and support. Moreover, her humor, intelligence and quick wit were just “ frosting on the cake”. My yearly two- week vacations at Auntie Etta’s are indelible highlights while growing up. I will always be grateful for those youthful memories on the beach, and then later on as an adult, the family outings at the Schaefer backyard cabana. Please know that your mom is still missed very much.
Love, Pam

I have so many memories of days spent with "Toni"! We became close after my daughter Brittany was born, and then even closer after my son Tyler was born. My children had the gift of having her as their grandmother. At a time in my life when my father became seriously ill, she was there for me. She was so giving, supportive and loving and always had time for me when I needed it most. She will always hold a special place in my heart. Heaven's gate was open for you, god bless such a beautiful woman.
Love, Linda

Here I am "Antoinette" Belle Virgilio ! Wonder who I was named after. One of the funniest stories I remember (and I know nobody else remembers, seeing that I am the oldest of EVERYBODY) is when my father was in the Navy and was being transferred to Florida, Auntie Etta decided to quit her job and move along with me, my father and mother. Her office gave her a big surprise party, with loads of beautiful gifts and a great send-away. While we were on the train en route to Florida, we received word through the train authorities , that the Navy cancelled that plan to Florida and we all had to come back. I hope Auntie Etta got her old job back! Will remember all the good times on the farm , along with Mr & Mrs Schaefer, testing the chicken eggs, feeding the pigs and going to alot of Uncle Ray's baseball games. Then Uncle later taught me how to water-ski. Seems like yesterday . Auntie, Will miss you for a long time. Love, Belle.

Oh the great times we shared over the years! Here is one of my favorite photos of the many wonderful family picnics we've shared together! The times we went "yard sale"ing during our summer visits. I'm also glad we shared that last special time together all of us at the last family gathering at Auntie Etta's a few years back. Salute' Auntie Etta! You will be missed buy never forgotten! Love, Little Diane xoxo

Dear Jackee, Cindy,and Gary,
Warm and loving thoughts have been passing through my mind since Auntie Etta passed. Those very impressionable memories of our many summers together at the "Schaefer Resort" will keep your mom's wonderful spirit with me forever. Only now, as an adult, can I truly appreciate all the effort and personal time afforded to me on my awesome summer vacations with Auntie Etta and Uncle Ray. What I remember most about your mom was her ever-so-keen intellect on so many subjects we discussed those evenings in your living room while she sat in her "reading" chair. As my Godmother, your mom always made me feel personally a little bit extra "special", always being interested in what was happeing all throughout my life. Auntie Etta was a woman whom I admired and loved. I will miss her very much. You and your mom and dad will always be in my prayers and my thoughts.
Love,
Cousin Pam

There are probably not enough characters in this venue to hold all the great memories about Mrs. Schaefer, who I have known since my childhood. As a third grader, I was amazed how she kept her patience and poise in the middle of the night as Gary and I kept the Schaefer household wide awake, especially the "ladybug" incident. But, in the morning Mrs. Schaefer had a full breakfast on the table. Seeing her pleasant smile, we knew we were obsolved. She came and cheered us at all our games and track meets in high school. Whether we won or lost, it did not matter. Mrs. Schaefer was especially very proud of her family. It showed in her eyes. My family and I will miss her very much. She will always be with us.
