Dear Vivian and family,
I learned from my partner for life Judge Raymond Bradly that you suffered the loss of your husband on August 30, 2009.
I was his Alberta agent in my practice.
I was a classmate of the late Tony and I remember him well at the 25th and 40th anneversaries of the class of "58".
My sympathies to you and your family.
We shall miss him.

Judge Tony Demong was tryly loved by the Bar. A kind, sensitive man, he truly understood the plight and unfortunate background of so many of the individuals who appeared in his court. He reached out to help those who would listen, and for that he gained respect and trust of us all. We will miss him.

I remember going to Grandpa Tonys and Grandma Vivians and we always got to watch TV when we were there so it was very exciting! He was also very encouraging when I decided to join the wrestling team because he himself also did a bit of wrestling when he was growing up! He was usualy very quiet but I always loved getting to go for visits and loved the few times he came down to Regina when I was growing up.
My Grandpa Tony was deffinatly one of the smartest people I will ever know. We will all miss him very very much! Love you Grandpa! <3

Good Morning:
Please accept my sincere condolences in the passing of Judge Demong. While a member of the Calgary Police Service, I had the honor of being in front of Judge Demong on many occasions as I presented evidence on a variety of cases.
He was an exacting man and a fair Judge whom we all respected.
I recall one evening while out of the Detective branch and back in uniform as a Sgt. / Street Supervisor, I had occasion to be in Fish Creek Park where Judge Demong was driving thru with his wife. At a point where I could pull up along side of their vehicle in my patrol car, I rolled the window down and offered my greeting to him in that warm summer evening. I was surprised to see that he not only recognized me but also knew my name. We exchanged a few quick pleasantries and we both went along our way. I remember being surprised that he could recall the names of many officers who appeared before him.
To be remembered by those with whom we worked with fond memories and a large measure of respect is all we can hope for. Judge Demong certainly was that kind of man.
Respectfully,
Brian Bell

Dear Mrs. Demong and Family,
On behalf of myself and all of the members of the Criminal Defence Lawyers Association of Calgary (CDLA), I would like to pass on our deepest sympathy to you and your family at this difficult time.
Judge Demong was a wonderful jurist who had an endless supply of common sense and a great compassion for those less fortunate. On a personal level, he was extremely kind to me. I will never forget the time when Tony, in his quiet way, consoled and reassured me when my father, and his colleague (Judge Robert Dinkel), fell ill from a stroke. I am comforted in knowing that my Dad and Judge Demong are now together sharing countless stories of their days in Calgary Provincial Court. Judge Demong was very much loved and respected by all who appeared before him and worked with him at the Courthouse.
With the greatest of sympathy,
Mike Dinkel & The CDLA
