Anton KRUK Obituary
December 8, 1927 – October 9, 2016
On October 9, 2016, our husband, father and grandfather passed away at the age of 88 years.
Anton will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Helen; son, Michael (Lisa); grandchildren, Austin, Mitchell and Erika. He is survived by his brother, Joseph (Olga); sister-in-law, Victoria; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Anton was predeceased by his parents, Mike W. and Oksana Kruk; sister, Mary Buerger (Emil); brothers, Stanley and Emil (Elsie).
Dad, Gido, Uncle will be sadly missed for his big smiles, great stories and huge heart.
Divine Liturgy Thursday, October 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, Radway, AB. Reverend Slavko Dumec officiating with interment in St. Michael's Cemetery, 13819 – 82 Street, Edmonton. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, Radway, AB T0A 2V0.

In these moments of great ordeal, words are useless After the tears have dried and the goodbyes have been said, all we have to hold onto are the happy memories that we've shared with our loved ones who have passed, this is what keeps them alive in our hearts and in our minds, and they will continue to live on, through you. Dear Auntie Helen, cousin Micheal, Lisa and children. Uncle Anton will always be remembered, I may not see my family as much as I would like but you are always in my thoughts and prayers. I love you all and I pray God gives you strength during this difficult time. I will never forget uncle Anton especially at your farm and what a great story teller he was. Uncle Anton rest in peace. Our deepest sympathy to Helen and family. We had a wee visit with Anton at Redwater Hospital while visiting another patient and so pleased to have had that opportunity. May he rest Peacefully.

Condolences to my dear Sister Helen, Nephew Michael & his wife Lisa and their children. Ted and I will miss Anton very much. I was a child when Helen and he dated and of course I got chocolates and candy. As a teenager when we played canasta I was his partner. I could write a book about life with Anton when he joined our family. May God welcome you into his heavenly kingdom Dear Brother-in-Law. You will never be forgotten.
