Antonio Dominic Allen

"Tone," "Tonio," "Toni Tone"

September 6, 1990 – April 4, 2025

Antonio Dominic Allen passed away on April 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and deep human connection. From Richmond, Missouri, born on September 6, 1990, Antonio may have come from the Midwest, but his heart beat with the rhythm and sunshine of Miami-a place he held close no matter where life took him.

He graduated from Excelsior Springs High School in 2009, and while he worked with AT&T in recent years, his truest success was in the bonds he built-with his partner, his children, his family, and everyone lucky enough to know him. Antonio found fulfillment not in titles or accolades, but in people. His purpose was connection.

Above all else, Antonio was a pillar of his family. He was one point in an unbreakable triangle-Kameo, Antonio, and Jr.-a bond defined by loyalty, laughter, and love. None of them exist without the others, and his absence leaves a missing piece that will be felt forever.

Tonio's love of music was as big as his spirit. Whether belting out lyrics with pure joy, dancing with his children, or serenading those he cared for, music was his love language. Energetic, athletic, and always on the move, he brought an infectious enthusiasm to everything-be it a spontaneous footrace, a lively game of UNO, or a backyard boxing match. Every moment with Tone was charged with joy, laughter, and heart.

Tonio never met a stranger. His genuine curiosity and love for people meant he could connect with anyone, anywhere. He was the person who turned small talk into deep conversations, who made everyone feel seen and valued.

He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents Russell Allen Sr. and Mildred Allen, Bishop Joseph and Cynthia Ingraham, and Uncle Steve Ingraham.

He is survived by the love of his life, Gabriella Hernandez and his beautiful children: Jaeden Allen, Amiya Allen, Mateo Hernandez-Allen, and Marcello Hernandez-Allen. He is deeply missed by his mother Renee Allen, stepfather Mark Ingraham, sister Kameo Lewis, brother Mark Ingraham Jr. (Anna), nephew Ziere Reid, nieces Kiara and Ensley Ingraham, honorary nephews Jorden Gates, Jor-El Roseburr, and Kal-El Roseburr, and honorary niece Mi-Amor Roseburr, Uncle Melvin Allen, Aunt Rebecca Allen, Uncle Jameson Allen, and Uncle Prince Allen. As well as a host of other loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Special thanks go to Dr. Cathy Ingraham Batton, Reverend Shandy Allen, Belinda Ingraham, Dana Lambert Cole, and Godmother Tanya Lewis for their love and support.

With a Corona in hand and music in his heart, Antonio lit up every room he entered. Be it dancing, joking, or diving into an unexpected heart-to-heart, he left people better than he found them. He lived for his family and friends, and the space he has left in our hearts is unfillable.

He will live on through those who love him-especially his children-and in the countless moments of joy, love, and laughter that will forever echo his name.

A private memorial service will be held for close family members.

A Celebration of Life honoring Antonio will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM at Social in Waldo (7425 Broadway St, Kansas City, MO 64114). All who knew and loved Antonio are welcome to attend and share in the memories of a life well lived.

Love you, Cuz. Growing up, you were one of my closest cousins. I´ll never forget you, Kam, and Jr staying with us in STL when we were kids. We were cuttin up and enjoying life unlike any other. Loved how when we were kids we would always talk about sports, crack jokes, and it seemed like we always had to race one another to see who was the fastest. Man, good times. The memory that will never leave me is when we convinced Nanny that she had another grandson named Andrew! She was so drunk we could have convinced her of anything. We made up a whole new cousin and his family! Nanny kept on agreeing with us and said "yeah, I miss him and his family.. it´s been a while since I´ve seen them." We were ROLLING! Man, I love you so much. I´m praying for you and your family, cuz. You will be missed.

Man... It's crazy bro just doesn't seem real or fair at all. Thanks for helping me become a better me man. Helping me become more comfortable and more confident with myself. Could always make fun out of anything. I'll never forget how we used to kick it and watch "Sling Blade" or a old school Bugs Bunny cartoon. I didn't know how I'd feel or fit in when I first came to Excelsior but you made me feel more at home then I did anywhere else and I never wanted to leave. It's crazy man. I just saw you not even a month ago... I love you cuz always and forever.

My heart is heavy but knowing you are with our Lord and Savior gives me peace. I love you and thank God for you being in the Allen/Cole family and being my nephew is an honor I will always cherish. I loved to hear you say Uncle Jameson, I enjoyed your stays with us during the summers when you were little and hearing about all your football endeavors. You made some beautiful babies and you don´t have to worry as they will be well taken care of. Until we meet again on the other side, hug Nanny and Papa Allen for me. Love you big bunches.
