Dear Nono,
I miss you so much! I turned 13 4 days ago and you left us when I was 7. I love you so much. I miss the way you always called me beautiful, your little angel girl, baby doll, and lovely. I miss it so much Neni misses you a lot. the doctor said you would live for 7 more years but you died 7 months later. you died 12 days after Joe's birthday. Do you remember our birthdays? do you see us? I'm happy most of the time but sometimes I remember you and it falls apart> I try to stay strong for you and I do but when I cry about you I hope you don't get sad. Have fun with big uncle Tony, and big neni.
Love,
Your Favorite Granddaughter Francesca Elizabeth Scolieri

To the Caruso Family
(Rose, Joanne, Tony, Maria and Laura)
I am so sorry for your lost. Tony was a good boss and an even better friend. I want to thank Tony for giving a young man, from the Hill District, the opportunity to work at Pasta Too. Tony was very easygoing and light hearted, and while sometimes he could be stubborn, he was always fair. Tony never called me by my first, it was always by my last (Horne). One of the most memorable phrase I will never forget was when he said "they can go pound salt". I had a very vague idea about what it meant and to this day, I use it. I will always be thankful for the opportunity to work with him and the Caruso family. He will be missed but not forgotten.

Caruso family,
Thinking of you ALL and keeping you close in my prayers. Tony had a unique role in my family. He was the boss of Missy Weaver (RIP), my niece, for many years at Pasta Too. He would make an appearance at family parties and get togethers. He hand delivered food to my house when he learned that my toddler daughter, Samantha, suddenly passed away. Tony Caruso offered us car rides when he'd see us waiting for the bus. One super guy. Miss Rose, I think I may have met you once or twice at the "shop". Tony, I remember the day you were telling me that I would like the casette tape, Green Day.

Thank you ALL for the lovely memories I will carry forward. Peace be with each and every one of you.
