Antonio DiCicco, age 92, a longtime resident of Braintree, died peacefully, Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at the Pat Roche Hospice Home in Hingham, surrounded by his loving family.

Antonio was born on December 6, 1931 in Ortona dei Marsi, L'Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy, to the late Pietro and Marietta DiCicco. Raised and educated there, he immigrated to the United States in 1961 at the age of twenty-nine, settling in Quincy. He built a home and lived in Braintree for nearly fifty years.

Antonio was a skilled cabinet maker and carpenter and had been retired for many years.

He found great joy working on projects around his home and gardening, cultivating flowers and vegetables. He also enjoyed listening to Italian music. Antonio was a witty, hard-working man who was devoted to his family.

Beloved husband for sixty-six years of Dina (Conte) DiCicco.

Devoted father of Daniel DiCicco and his wife Cherry of Leander, TX, Delia Strohm and her husband Wayne, and David DiCicco, all of Weymouth.

Loving and proud 'Nonno' of Noah and Adam Strohm, Luke, Joshua, and Andrew DiCicco.

Dear brother of the late Enio DiCicco and his surviving wife Maria of Italy, and Irma DiCicco of Italy.

Brother-in-law of Siria Giannandrea of Weymouth and her late husband Rodolfo.

Son-in-law of the late Fernando and Marietta (Eramo) Conte.

Antonio is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and their families.

At the request of the family, funeral services and interment took place privately.
