No words can express the way I feel in the passing of Tony.I am a former employee of Dunkin Donuts in Weston and also main street waltham,it was a joy to serve him as i can remember TONY's smile,may he rest in peace.

When those you love die, the best you can do is honor their spirit for as long as you live. Tony was a wonderful person, with a heart full of warmth, joy and generosity. I became friends with Tony through his brother Frank. We both forage maitake mushrooms in the fall. Just this past season we spoke about how many mushrooms we had collected. We shared photos of our haul. Tony was so funny making a joke he said "make sure no dogs peed on them." We both laughed. We said how would we know. Tony said,"Just boil them twice." A few years back at his brother Mikes annual christmas party we were talking about our families he told me how blessed he felt to have such great children and a beautiful, wonderful wife. In all the years I have known Tony I have never heard him speak an unkind word of anyone. Tony, always a smile! Tony wore his crown of life with joy. Thank you for the gifts you gave.

Tony would light-up a room when he would share his great story telling memories [my favorite story is how he met his wife, Mercedes]; as well as sooooo proud of his wonderful children - [I complimented Tony on his jacket at a recent Christmas party and he smiled with such joy and responded - the jacket was an early Christmas gift from his daughter!]my last interaction with Tony and Mercedes. Tony was full of life and we cannot forget how he cherished his work and family.such a compassionate person!

We are shocked and saddened to hear of Tony's passing. A fun guy. A generous guy. When we worked together on asphalt jobs Tony would always give all of my men $20 as a tip, and buy coffee and donuts for all the guys.
Tony also taught me and my crew a lot along the way. We will miss him.

To Mercedes, Marisa, Bianca & Antonio, Tony was one of the nicest people on this planet, he was a hard worker, a wonderful family man, husband & father. I've had many long talks with Tony & no matter what the subject was, it always came back to his family. It was everything to him & what motivated him each & every day...He was also a true friend to all those around him, even coming to my home with chainsaw in hand during a blizzard in March when a tree fell against my house, blocking my front door. Nobody else would do that for a friend. He was the salt of the Earth. I am honored to have known Tony & proud to have called him my friend. My heartfelt condolences to the family. So many childhood memories of Tony and all the Fragale family.

Tony was a student in my class at the Whittemore School in Waltham when he was around 12 years old. I was shocked and very saddened to hear of his passing. I will always remember his high-energy personality, smiling face, and his need to be constantly moving! My happy memories of him I will treasure for the rest of my life. Several years ago I was walking along when all of a sudden I heard someone yelling from the cab of the truck he was driving yelling : "Mr. LeFort, Mr. LeFort, it's Tony Fragale !!", waving wildly, blowing his horn, with that big smile of his still shining from ear to ear after all these years! What a great moment that was for me! My deepest sympathies go out to his family in these most difficult times. May he rest in peace.

It was with great sadness that I learned of Tony's passing. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and I hope that in a small way, they help through these trying times.

I remember my son Bryan being on the tire swing in my Nana Lombardo's backyard on Newton Street, and Tony or Fabio would come up to him to say hi. Tony was a good guy and he will be missed.
