Antonio Guzman Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 22, 2010.
Antonio M. Guzman, 39, of Payson, Utah, died Sunday, August 22, 2010. Antonio was born October 27, 1970 in Payson, Utah, the son of David Guzman and Juanita Garner. He graduated from Payson High School in 1989. He married his high school sweetheart, Melodie Pay, on October 5, 1990. Antonio loved hunting, camping, riding four wheelers, and playing with his kids. His favorite place in the world was on top of Nebo Mountain. He worked for Clydeco for the past 6 years and worked at Harward Irrigation for 12 ½ years before that. He was a hard worker often putting in extra hours and doing many jobs that required physical labor. Customers often requested him to deliver materials because of his work ethic, dedication, and kindness. He had a big heart and a tremendous love for others. He demonstrated this deep love for others by being the first to volunteer to help another in need. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. He is survived by his spouse; three sons, Nicholas Guzman, Wesley Guzman, Tyson Guzman; one daughter, Mikayla Guzman; parents, David Guzman and Juanita Garner; in laws, Grant and Laurie Pay; six brothers, David Earl Guzman, Benjamin (Jimie) Guzman, Billy Joe Guzman, Agustin Guzman, Armando (Kristen) Guzman, Tyler Guzman; three sisters, Elena Tinoco, Laural (Jaime) Morales, Abby Guzman; two sister in laws, Angie (Jasen) Argyle, Amy (Mike) Sorensen; one brother in law, Michael (Shelly) Pay; and 27 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2010 at the LDS church 900 West 400 North Payson, Utah. Friends and family may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson, and at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Payson City Cemetery.
