Antonio Peluso

PELUSO, Antonio Antonio Peluso, 83, of West Hartford, loving husband of Pasqualina (Sanzo) Peluso for 52 years, died Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Hartford Hospital. He was born November 8, 1924 in Sepino province of Campobasso, Italy and was the son of the late Carmine and Cristina (Tiberio) Peluso. He served in the Italian Army. Antonio worked for over 20 years for Wiremold Co., West Hartford, retiring in 1990. He was an avid gardener, who also enjoyed fishing, hunting and claming. His most precious past time was baby-sitting for his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his loving and devoted family. Besides his wife he is survived by his four children, Christine Page of East Hartford, Carmine Peluso and his wife, Janice of Wethersfield, Mario Peluso and his wife, Kim of Higganum and Santina Longo and her husband, Ryan of Colchester, two brothers, John Peluso and Luigi Peluso and his wife, Grace all of West Hartford, a sister, Filomena DiGiacomo of West Hartford, sister-in-law, Sally Peluso of Kensington, grandchildren, Lindsay Peluso and her fiancée, Gary, Michael, Ryan, Carleigh and Laurie Peluso, Ashley and Stephanie Page, Sarah Peluso and Taylor, Jordin and Michaela Longo and a great grandson, Jake as well as many nieces, nephews and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law in Italy and Canada. He was predeceased by a sister, Pasqualina Sevigny, a brother, Angelo Peluso, son-in-law, Roger Page and granddaughter, Jennifer Page. Funeral service will be Friday at 8 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. at St. Brigid Church, 1088 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford.
