When Matt called me that Friday afternoon on Oct. 16th to let me know that his father had passed away, I was such in disbelief. We last saw Mr. Antonio Pereira in May at Bernadette's youngest son's First Communion. He always seemed to find a way to make you laugh no matter what the occasion. He reminded me so much of my own beloved father with his funny sense of humor. The mass and reception at Sacred Heart Church honoring Mr. Antonio Pereira was beautiful. It is obvious that he was loved by so many and will greatly be missed. May we all find comfort in knowing he is in a better place. He is now with our Heavenly Father.

What a fitting tribute my brother's funeral services were to him and to what his life represented. He would have been proud of his family and pleased to see all who gathered in his memory. Those who knew Tony knew how much he enjoyed the fellowship of friends and family. I especially thought it was wonderful that there was a shortage of chairs at the reception following his church service. It served as a visible reminder of the many people who cared for him. Rest easy, dear brother, for you were and will remain well loved.

Linda and family,
I am sorry I can't be there in person but my heart is with you, feeling your loss and grief. There is a "spot" in our family that our big brother held that will forever be void. Will be asking God for peace and confront to face the days ahead.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Celeste, your Dad was such a kind man. He made my boys, feel welcomed and loved whenever they saw him. He joked and teased them and they loved every minute of it. Take care. The Kuykendall's

I loved Tio Tony so very much, His funny sense of humor, he always had a smile and could make any room he was in light up with humor. I only have good memories of him many of which from when I was little and would spend the summers at your dairy. He was a fun person. I am very sad he has passed.
